I finally got some pictures of my nephew. He is growing too fast.

Westcott Softbox

I am so excited I got a new toy. A Westcott speedlight softbox. And this was my first try with it. I am just loving the catchlights it creates. What it does is act like an imitation for natural window light. The best thing about the westcott is you use your speedlight so no expensive lights to buy.

Little Red Truck

The heat her is just unreal. Louisiana is so hot and humid in Summer time. We just got us an above ground pool and am loving it!! We are finally able to enjoy being outdoors. I am also excited because I finally ordered a light meter! I am so excited to finally get my exposures perfect straight out of the camera. (hopefully) It should arrive Thursday and I will post some pictures from it then. But for now here are some I played with this weekend. I call the first one his signature look. I told him there were bugs on my camera and I got this look. See he is just fascinated with bugs and this way I atleast got eye contact LOL!!!

Newborn and Sisters

These are both my niece. This was my first newborn session. She slept though pretty much the whole session. The baby has to wear a body brace so the newborn pictures were a bit limited.

Summer Time

Wow it has been one busy summer for me. We just got back from our vacation to Florida. We had so much fun. It was Jayden's first time at the beach. He was terrified of the water. Here are a few images.

Ashlynn Vicknair

My sister had her baby Ashlynn she was 6lbs 4oz and just so beautiful. She has been in NICU she was four weeks early. She has a dislocated hip so she will be coming home in a brace. Keep her in your prayers.

Sunlight

My favorite light is backlight. It just gives an angel glow around her.

I am asking for all your prayers. My grandmother is not doing well. She has an irregular heart beat and one of her lungs has failed due to fluid buildup. She is my life and I know God will take care of her and has a plan. But please just pray for her well being and pain free. Thank you!
