New Toy

I got a new toy SB-600 with the Gary Fong diffuser. It is so awesome I love that diffuser. So I had the flash and diffuser pointed up to my low white ceiling and caught some magic catchlights.

And just one to show how pouty he is when I pull my camera out.

My Cousins

Not only did I get to see my cousins but I had a fabulous time photographing them as well. Austin was such a little cheeser it was too cute. Caleb was just a sweetheart. Here are my faves.

Searching

I am trying to keep up with blogging. So here is a quick shot of my son. I asked him to sit down and find a frog. This is the only way to get him to sit just for 2 seconds.

Dancer

My daughter has a solo part for her dance recital. We have worked so hard on it. I am so proud of her and how far she has come with her dance. We just received her costumes so I had to take some pictures and share. I don't get many pictures of my son because he won't sit for two seconds. I sneaked up on him when I had my setup for the dance pictures.

Kids

I know I haven't posted in awhile. I am so excited to announce that April 22 I will be attending an online workshop by Detra http://thelightworkshop.wordpress.com/. I took some pictures of the kids trying to use backlight in the first image. I just can't wait to learn more!!

Modeling

I had so much fun testing out my new reflector. These are some pictures of my sister in law Nichelle. She was just perfect in front of the camera. I truely believe she has the ability to pursue her modeling. She is so gorgeous. I had the pleasure of being the photographer. Thanks again for my sister Carrie! She was such a HUGE help!!

Spring Time

Spring is on the way. I was so excited to be able to do Easter pictures. I love Spring it is my favorite time of the year. I had such a great time shooting these two beautful girls.
